The Bornhorst setup uses pink front springs, not the black. With the black springs I can get 28mm of front ride height with the spring adjuster all the way down to the bottom of the threads. With the stiffer pink springs, the adjusters sit about 3-4mm further up the threads for the same ride height.

I run 7-5-3 on my low grip dirt track as do all the fast guys using Mugen diff fluid.
What does PT diff oils stand for?

anyone have some time in w/ the universals? Seems like it will be a lot harder to clean with the inner bearing so far in the hub, leaving a lot more space for build up? Or does it stay pretty clear/clean?

Thinking of ordering a eb48.3, I was set on an eb48sl but I am leaning towards the .3 now. I am new to electric other than a 410.3 I just bought for the kids but I have kinda taken over. I was gonna go with the eb48sl so I could stay with the 2s batteries I had for the 410.3 but it seems as though a 4s system is the way to go with a buggy. My question is, will a hobbywing sct pro combo with the 2250 motor be enough to power a full sized 48.3. I will probably be ordering everything from fierce rc is the reason I'm curious about this combo

couple months and they seem fine, the bearing is deeper in the carrier so its protected better from the elements. I blew out at least four outer bearings in half the time ive ran since the swap, tekno did seem to have a bad run of bearings but to me it is better

oil question
I read AE oil is about 2k heavier then ptrc. How does mugen, ofna, and losi oil compare to ptrc?

Another oil question
Anyone know what the ptrc shock oil wt is equal to in AE, mugen, ofna, and losi. My LHS doesn't sell ptrc oil. They sell AE mugen ofna losi and kyosho.
