Mission question
Greetings!
I am going to be buying a -
http://www.apexmodels.co.uk/product-...cat=kits&id=44
Shortly, having been very, very impressed my the performance of my brothers car straight out of the box. I tried a XXX-S for a season, but the car and me just didn't gel properly, I think it may have been a personality clash or something!
Now, my question is, are there any parts that are likely to break on the car, that I should order at the same time as the kit? Also, is there anything not included in the kit that I might need? (essential tune-ups etc). I also seem to remember my brothers kit did not come with a pinion gear, does that sound right?
Always wanted to drive a Schumacher car, ever since my Optima Mid was trounced by Cat XLS's back in the day.
Thanks for any advice.
Rain
PS. I can't really afford the extra cash for a MI2, or I would get one of those. And I am not a good enough driver to notice much difference anyway I think. I have nearly got to the stage where I can hit EVERY barrier on the way around the track though! *Proud*

Hey Kevin....No doubt about that!!!!! I remeber last year when it was 6deg without the wind chill I watched the weather channel last night and it showed 0 deg weather for wed on.....
I hear ya Mo, but its tough because I have run the purple since the early 90's.....LOL The next body Adrian is going to do the sides different (tone it down).
Rain....E-mail me at work and I will send you a pdf file setup to run [email protected]
We here ya ottoman....No one more than Schumacher wants this car out.....Everyday its delayed, interest is lost by potential racers. Just think if you were one of the diehard HPI racers who had to wait 1 1/2 years for the new Pro4.....I feel we are pretty lucky that its only 2 months late.....3rd week of Jan is the scheduled production run if everything falls into place.

Matt - you think that funny but you wouldnt believe the calls we get sometimes...
"what is this wishbone thingy?"
"centre (cen-tree) track rod?"
"ball grippa?"
"what are tyres (tie-rez)?"
"you guys need to edit you manual better...there were a lot of mis-spelled words....centre, colour, tyres..."

Sometimes I wish they would just add 6 months onto the release date... its nicer to be surprised with a early release than to watch the date keep getting pushed back If I were a HPI guy I would have no problem waiting for the Pro4, if it means the car will work when its released... they probably still wince when you say Pro3
