- Plastic is HARD. I had to grease the screws to get them in! It seems the material is similar to the associated "graphite" parts.
- Dry weight of the car BONE stock with everything minus fuel is 1806 grams. Legal IFMAR weight is 1725 so we are 81 grams over weight bone stock. Remember that that is using a AA 5 cell pack at 97grams. The AAA small packs are around 50 grams so there is 50 grams saving right there
- Some hand fitting required which I hate. The steering linkage was fiddly and you have to cut the underside of the floating mount since the top of the camber links hit under compression (this is wierd since I dont remember this happening with my RR)
- Rear arms are different. It seems that they have some material removed from the insides.
- The stickers which come with the car don't say EVO!! That sucks right there.
- Lola and sedan is accomodated.
- No body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?
- 35 shore tires front and rear are supplied. Who uses 35 shore?
- The kit setup has a ride height of 6mm front and 6.5mm rear. Seems too high to me!
- My drivetrain is tight from the get go due to the belts, needs some breakin.
- The steering rack runs on bushings not bearings!!

Trade the tyres with sparksy - he'll need 'em the for our Melbourne winter.
On the steering rack bushes, can we replace them with bearings or are these bushes some propriatry size/shape?
I have a AAA pack and want to mount it down low, not hanging under the top deck - got any good ideas? I was considering drilling two holes in the chassis and mounting it from underneath.

And the Mugen receiver cover looks like it was made for the job.
. . errr, you got a part number for it, please?

It's yours.
Have you noticed how similar all these cars are becoming.
It's possible to swap rear uprights, receiver covers, floaring rear ends . . . . probably many other parts, too.

Yes, I have both MTX3 and V1RR and they fit perfectly on the same starter box too !

Well I was going to y'all a run down on how the EVO went this weekend, but BOTH my 9450s have just died an unexplained death
No idea why they popped but they are dead, tried them on a few different RX units and no response. No track time this weekend for me

I know I shouldn't ask this but are you really, really sure.
That's a hell of a coincidence.
(Hope they don't read this in that throttle servo thread.)

use rubber grommet. most of the servo malfunction caused by excessive vibration.

Belts 'n' Stuff
Is the Evo overdriven at the front like the RR was? If so then what is required to convert it back to 1:1 drive ie. Part number for belt/pulley etc?
Are all the other belts the same as the RR?
I want to convert it back to 1:1 until I get myself a tyre truer so that I don't have to run the diameter split.
Thanks.
