The one shown at the Tokyo Hobby Show was the TF-5.
It is a shaft layout like the HPI/Yokomo style.
It uses diff gear houses similar to the FW05, if not the same.

Default KYOSHO V-ONE RRR

I also just got back from the Full Throttle Sate Race. My first time out with this car and I was very impressed. Ran all weekend and ran hard and at the end of my main I finally broke something, can anyone guess what it was, that's right, a shock stay. For me to break only that one part all weekend tells me how tough that car is. And any one that knows how I drive knows I usually break more than that.

Can't wait until the Nat's.

Sounds like the Trinity T-spec. It basically recycled the Reflex parts which are clones of the V-one RR. I hope they don't go that route and stick with the TF-5 concept.

Default Skyline 4mm Rear Shock Tower

Skyline 4mm Rear Shock Tower for V-one RRR is available.

You can find the information under this web site or check with your LHS.

It comes with two 1mm alum spacers for the bottom of the shock to make up for the extra mm on the tower?

Thanks

The Trinity T-spec re-uses the Reflex parts. The Trinity Reflex is actually a V-one clone. I hope Kyosho sticks with the TF-5 concept. Pillow balls are great for nitro cars but not so great for electric. Trinity even recycled the rear hub carriers which have too high of a roll center for a LC electric car.

Default 4mm shock tower

when you guys use the 4mm schock tower, do you put a spacer on the bottom of the shock to make up for the extra mm on the tower?
