Sudhar93,
Not sure how long I will stay, 6 month to start with.
I hope to do some race in Malaysia soon.
gimpex,
When I go travel with airplane I always put my car and radio in my handluggage. All other stuff I put in normal luggage with clotch between the equipment so it doesn't got damaged.
Ramyuras,
Check set-up sheet.
MatsNorway
You better can check the speedpassion website about performance etc.
b-man777,
I prefer the Nosram over the Speed Passion speedo. Speed Passion speedo needs some more testing. Marc and Viktor using the Speedo and they perform very well with it.
kschu,
I'm sure the speedo that Marc and Viktor are using is a regular speedo that anyone can buy. Same with the SP motors.
dameetz
At the Worlds we used 6 cell 4.0T motor Gearing was 8.6 105/25
I used Tamiya spurgear with Xenon pinion. Marc used with fan, Viktor and me without fan, just personal feeling. And yes, you need to shim with or without fan differently.
Tom,
Thanks for your feedback. The reason I ran Nosram at the euros I have a deal with Nosram and my personal feeling is better with the Nosram speedo.
Cannon,
I will test some F104 and Mini so I will find good set-up for TITC! See you there!
Senna racing,
Life is good here, don't know many shops around Bangkok yet.
Marcel,
I'm still waiting for my F104, I will let you know when I have tested it.
Jonest,
I think Tamiya has a couple of types, I think yours is for drive-shaft and suspension ball.
David,
To be honest I still not have tested Lipo in my 416. I think till now any Lipo fits the 416. I never have any problem with steering slop. Pros and Cons, I think the 416 proved already to be the best TC on the market. I think that is the right O-ring.
Green Speed,
With the " simple" camber gauge you actually have the most realistic camber, with Hudy system there is always play between it.
I never use tweak board, I go with my own tweak theory.

Jilles,
Thanks for your answers.I just have one more thing. Is there any way to avoid my F/R 1C Suspension block getting bent?

Switch to the TA05 Ver-2 "Split" blocks for that spot. 4 screws so you can rest assured it won't bend...

Jilles,
Just noticed from watching the fifth RedRC video that you were using FM (that long TX antenna). Any reason you didn't switch to 2.4Ghz?

Just wanted to post saying that i really enjoyed the videos on RED. Been doing this for over 20yrs, and to see a pro sit down and go over the finer points with his car is fantastic. Can only it hope it reaches some of our younger racers who could see this work is what makes the difference along w/practice. I don't have a tamiya touring car, but even i picked up at least 1 thing out of each video. Really like that diff ring block. One of those 'why didnt i think of that' moments.
Way i see it, you sat down and gave us a bunch of your time to help us. The least i could do is voice my appreciation for it and perhaps give you a small piece of advice from something i do.
Before you start taping, have your cameraman (or yourself) roll tape of the room no movement no talking etc for at least 1min, perhaps 2 to get a nice block of what we call 'room tone'. take this audio track (trash the video) and when you transfer/edit/mix your piece and lay it down underneath your main audio tracks for the entire video. This way your video sounds continuous and you have no jagged breaks/stops in your piece or your voice. Its a simple yet mandatory procedure in the film/video world, but it will help any video turn out even better.
Thanks again, all the best.

IQ0,
In the videos you see exactly how I tweak my car before I run on the track.
David,
I use 0.1mm shim under all bulkhead clamps.
Sudhar93,
As 94eg suggested, use TA-05 blocks, we also have used them at the last euros and these are more consistant and they don't bend when you have hard crash.
Dameetz,
You can use regular shims under those blocks.
Sim600,
I'm still not 100% sure about 2.4GHz
Ultegrasti,
Thanks for your comment and also your suggestion.
This was the first test to make a video like this together with Eoghain from Redrc. For sure we can improve many things but we had to start somewhere. I'm sure the next videos will be better again.
