I figured since I was adding wiring, and weight, I wanted the weight to be of maximum benefit, so I went with the 180 mah dynamite rx pack. My car is at weight with the rx pack and an RS pro. Factor in that my servo is now WAAAAY faster, and it seems like the best way to go to me.

Don't forget that some servos don't live long when supplied with 7.4v (actually 8.4v when fully charged), so you may also need to add a voltage regulator, which is more weight and more $$. Also, one more battery to remember to charge, and if it doesn't have a separate switch, remember to disconnect between rounds or you'll kill it.

Do luggage carts require Rx packs?

As an individual who's done this for a few years, I've been through the whole rx pack routine before, so separate switch was installed. I expect that my quality Futaba servo will hold up well to the li-po voltage, if not I'll find a servo that will. I just hate adding anything to the car that doesn't enhance performance in one way or another.

spec foam tire update
Along with Jaco as our spec foam tire sponsor, BSR will also join us with the same compound. Both will be available at the races and the slam tracks. They should be available by the end of this week from the Gate or AB Charles hobby shop and Mimi's early next week.
