Wrong. Powered by "grappa", CVD's are dark chocolate (99%) and the pilot was Santa Claus....

Default Well

I think geometry changes will be the most important feature. On my 808 the shocks are fine, just a bit too short compared to the mugen for example. I think the problem is the length of the shocks and their relation to the towers and a arms. For example. even with longer shocks mounted on the buggy the uptravel when the chassis is touching the ground you can't roll the car torsionally very far so when you land at an angle off a jump into a turn it bends the a arm, even with the stock shocks, a slightly stiffer material for the a arms would help that too.

The outer wheel bearings need to be the larger standard size, and the servo saver wears fast causing it to not center properly. I hope they fix that.

The rear chassis brace needs to be move just behind the center diff to keep the chassis from getting bent (Big jumps on my two favorite tracks).

The two rear center diff screws from top that hold the center mount together get stripped fairly easily.

Honestly I think the buggy is a little light, especially when it's windy, and why can't a 3.5mm chassis be used. 4mm is to thick, and 3mm is too thin.

That's all I can think of and that's not too many changes.

I think the xray buggies are awesome, and the timing for a fresh change is perfect this time. Not a big fan of a new buggy every year, but whatever. I still run the 08 model and the little changes didn't make much difference on the track. It is time for some bigger changes, but what a run for the 808. It took a good long run....

I would like to see the xb9 take a good chomp at the US titles especially to get more glances from those with bigger wallets than brains.

Sounds like they may have something here. Shocks and chassis flex were the big issues and both are being addressed. I'm getting pretty excited about this car, time to start saving up.
