Have you got the correct sized diff balls?
Tamiya diff pulleys need 3mm balls, rather than 2.5mm balls.

One step ahead of you, I bribed Juan into showing me the "secret" Tamiya handshake.

Has anyone used the short arms outdoors yet with the same trackwidth as the std arms? If so would you recommend it and what handling differences did you notice?

Yes I have tried the short lightweight reversable arms on the TRF415MSX. It was good. Very comparable to the normal arms. Not much difference. Sightly more traction in my opinion. I used the E block in the rear rear. For the rear front I forget what I used. I had at least 2.5 degrees of toe in.
As for the front I used a D bridge in front rear and a D block in front front. I may try a E block in front front.
As for the sheel hubs, use the old silver ones. They are thicker than the 415MSX hubs. I think they are 6mm. They are a option part. This combined with the stuff I mentioned will make the over all track as wide as the normal reversable suspension.
In the rear you can mount the stabilizer bar on the new stabilizer hole. However, you need to bend the stabilizer bar alot. You can also mount the stabilizer on the shock mount holes. This may create a different feel. I am not sure.

Oh one thing, where can I get some of those sticker chnagaderas for diff covers? I had some made up for my Corally, but I saw JayL had some commercially purchased ones. I had to rebuild my diff yesterday, and looks like I need to again, it's not "butter smooth" anymore, I'm sure I got dirt and grit in it like before.
