I would get some extra blocks such as the front block 1A. Also some extra C and D blocks.
I have been running it on carpet and it is a great car. I have yet to break anything with the exception of the Aluminum Ball Studs on the steering knuckles.

double one way works great with rubber tires on carpet, but if you're planning on running Foams (especially Mod), forget about it! With so much more available grip, you'll push like hell coming in and out of corners. You can make one ways work with foam, I've done it before on 414X/414M, but you'll be slower then running a diff in the car, since you have slow WAY down for corners. With diffs and foam, you can get on the throttle LOT sooner then oneway, and get off the throttle LOT later going into a corner then oneways.
edit.. also far as spare parts for running foam/carpet, stock up on front C-hubs! and swing shafts. Might want to get some 2 degree ones too for foams. if you hit the barriers HARD, this is the part that fails first. It's also the only 'non' graphite part)

dawgmeat, check Tower Hobbies. That's where I got my 415 diff pulley last week, along with rear aluminum hubs. (Speedtech has been out of them for a while). Also, not sure if you're aware or not, all the suspension parts are SAME as TA04 parts, (knuckle, arms, c-hubs, rear hubs) Lot of shops carry TA04 parts, but not specific 415 parts. Tower has lot of 'spare' parts for 415, I've been using Speedtech and Tower, when I can't get stuff from my LHS (which uses Horizon, another place that carries 415 parts)

53427 is part # for arms. About $17.00, includes 2 front and 2 rear arms.

What about the front spool? When we should use a front spool/locked diff???
