I found the softer springs allowed a quicker reaction of the wheel over the bumps in a straight line and as I started or finished the cornering phase. The stiffer roll bar helped counteract the extra roll in the corner that the softer springs allowed. Although I also allowed more droop, I still used it to manage the weight transfer under acceleration and braking. The final balance of the car was really nice.

The rollbar thickness I used was 1.4mm as it was the thickest I had.

But the HPI is Linear and the Hara's are progressive. If 290 is the starting force, they will end stiffer than 300. In practice, I've found them the same as the HPI Pinks.

People always say that about Hara springs, but I'm not convinced anything other than the new short springs from the likes of Capricorn/Xray etc are progressive.

Thank you Ryan! I have been chatt'n this car up at Norcal for a few weeks now. Some of the guys are getting interested that have been wanting a change from there previous cars! I qualified 3rd today behind the 1st place Reedy guy in 17.5 but broke in the main! Oh well! Good luck Ryan in your next adventure and thanks again!

Looks like Jones has been a little quiet achiever, releasing a few bling and option parts 4 hole pistons, Delrin steering bushings, 22mm bellcranks, and some small spurs, good for spec classes
