2007 Nationals set up

front

lock
35wt 2 hole piston, very little rebound
purple springs layed down
-2 droop
5 ride height
38 shore 57.5mm
pins in upper position for roll center
2mm caster in front
-1 toe on each side
soft front bar and flat

Rear

20,000 diff oil
35wt 3 hole piston, very little rebound
yellow springs 3rd position from bottom
4 droop
6.5 ride height
40 shore 59mm
#3 position roll center
upper link at its shortest and most angle
2.3 sway bar inner position on bottom
2.5 rear toe

I used the brass battery tray, and added 40 grams to my car. This brought me to 1740 grams. I ran a Nova 353 and 25% Maxy fuel. If I am missing anything, just ask.

Regards,

interesting setup. did you go with -2 droop in order to gain some traction in the rear?

The front soft sway bar is an option part. Look online at any of the stores that carry serpent.

-2 droop was not done for rear traction. It was more for the bumps.

Does your setup revolve around how much droop you want to have on the car ? When do you measure droop ?

Not sure if I understand the question, but I measure droop on the blocks. As far as the droop in relation to the set up, the set up of the entire car is a give and take. I normally do not use that much droop, but found it worked at the nationals for the bumps. Since I was using a hard front spring if helped soak up some of the bounce in the car. Hope this helps. I think I confused myself. haha
