tamidion - depends on your skill level, how much you want to spend, etc.... If you are wanting an OS, look at the OS Spec V II (I think). You need a .21 size motor at any rate. You really don't need anything too expensive or powerful starting off. I started with a Novarossi R1 WC (I got a good deal from a good friend).
Acid - the Evolva clutch shims up much like the Serpent clutches. Shims go on the outside of the thrust bearing to set clutch gap. Shims go before the inner bearing to keep the bell off the shoe and to set end play. I normally set my gap at 0.5 mm and end play at about .2 mm or so.

Thanks bro Darkangel, I am very new in 1/8 but had been playing 1/10 for years. Thats why I am a begineer for Evolva and thinking maybe OS is a good engine for begineer. How about OS VG or VZ-R Turbo? Thanks in advance.

I would probably go with the VZ II Turbo out of those two. You will be down on power/torque compared with the other motors in this class, but you should be alright.
If you haven't driven one of these before (this is my second year in this class); the car will steer as much with the amount of throttle you are adding as the amount of mechanical steering you add. Don't try to drive the car like a nitro touring car.

this is the picco p9 thread. I would say the Picco will be a better choice than the OS. You will not be disappointed with the power. The price is around $300.

From there I went to the Rex 321P,and the Kangaroo engine.
I still get smoked with the experts in 1/8 scale, but it does take time.
The OS will serve you well.
