Please, could someone help me? I need to know a good starting gear ratio for the Cyclone S. The stock spur gear was to small. What spur and pinion combo works in the car. I will be running on asphalt my first time in a long while with a TC. I have been mainly running 12th scale. I have seen the setups for mod, but I have not seen setups for stock. The motor that is going to be used is CO27. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Just completed building my Cyclone. The kit comes with a 100t spur. I'm using a Novak Brushless 4.5. Novak recommends running a final of 9.75-10..25 with this motor. Here is my problem: With the 100t spur you have to run a 25t pinion to get a final of 9.75. At 25/100 the pinion does not get even close to mesh up. I can get to 9.75 at 32/128, but I don't know if the large spur would clear the rear graphite brace. Who else is running a Novak 4.5 in this car and what gear ratio are you running? Thanks so much.

108 is the largest you can go on the cyclone dont know what you should run with the 4.5 but I have seen it posted at around 10 to 1
