I just finished building my fk05 last night. I must say very impressive, with the exception of the shocks. And before everyone starts flaming, you must understand, after you have built and used Tamiya shocks it's hard to compare. On that note has anyone had much success using the Tamiya shocks on the Xray?

almost half the people dont even use the x-ray rims...at least they were nice enough to give us rims.

by far the strongest, well at least the original ones. Never bent one. Compared to Yokomo wheels

plastic shocks are awesome and build up easy, keep the weight down stick to the plastic shocks if your planning on racing it.

I'm using HPI shocks on my FK04, will probably put them on my 05.

just stick with the xray shocks. They do work very good if you build them correctly and are adjustable without having to dissasemble the whole thing. Also, you might as well get the xray springs because once you go xray you never go back.....unless you dont like quality and a fast car. As far as the white rims....who cares. No one uses them any ways.

thats just wrong, thats like putting honda parts on a benz.

Take into consideration that this is my first xray.

I would have liked to see the shock bodies though. I broke 2 rear shock bodies on my EVO2.
