NO one is going to sale a FK05 it's an xray buddy.
Is the 05 that much better than 04 for racing carpet onroad?
How well is it balanced out?
If the guys that have, own and run em would give me their opinions it would be great.

Even with the street price, that just made this a $450+ kit for asphalt racers.
Any of you Euro guys want to trade my Ball Diff for your Multi? I'll even throw in some extra money and pay for shipping!

I run Tamiya shocks on my xray's. Just put a new set on my new 05. Best shock going. Many team drivers would love to use them if they could. Silky smooth and they stay that way. I have some new 05 xray shocks for sale if anyone is interested. Still sealed in the kit bag.

rear diff and sway problem
Ok, my buddy just told me he sees a potential problem. With the rear sway bar on there, there is little to no room between the diff pulley and the rear sway, almost 1mm or less. Now, that's when the diff in the lowest position. As I was told, if you raise the diff up, it'll certainly hit the rear sway. He's thinking rear sway will need to be shimmed out in order to clear the rear pulley.
Does anyone have this problem so far?

Funny how the UK price seems to be considerably cheaper and yet we used to buy it then, and now your having to pay the same price now as we pay now, yet people kick up a fuss about the cost of it all, try adding $140 onto that price (last years rates, try $160 using todays) and THEN your at the same place the UK has been for the last 4 years.
However, its much easier to blame someone's new acquisition than your own countries ecconomy isnt it :P Takes less thought to come to that conclusion.

Nah, not having my M-D, quite impressed with it really, while i've done indoor/carpet racing for the last 6 years, a few of us have decided to spend the 'summer' (in its loosest of terms) outdoors so im gonna get a chance to play with this multi-diff. I have half a dozen diffs from the last couple of kits so im more than happy with the deal (though i had a 1-way and spool for the FK04).
A mate did offer one solution to the problem, from when people wanted to run the cells on the right side, and use a 1-way, it needs a old diff pulley, and then you'd cut it so you had a flat circular peice and no teeth, and then use that as a spacer to move the pulley onto the correct side.
I'm not saying it does work, but im told it does, someone else might want to look and see if the 2-3mm extra 'shimming' of the pulley would be significant clearance.
Its about as much of an option as the idea of locking up a ball-diff in order to make a spool i guess. Most of us should have an old diff pulley lying around, could be worth a try!

When the difference from last year it's only 10% and the prices are up 25% and more it is not economy. When you publicly acknowledge that the prices in the future will drop. When with every edition you reduce the quality it's not economy. When you sell well in one country and jack up the prices or the opposite (UK) its not economy. When the research and development for the new car is 2 months it is not economy. It is need for money right now. Please think twice before blame someone for narrow-minded.

Considering it is a patent pending device and the fact that you get basically three diffs with it, its really cheap!
We will pay about $55us street price for it.
The going rate for ball diff sets for other cars is about $39.99 for diffs and about $35 for one ways. So $15-20 extra bucks is no big deal.
