2008 R.O.A.R. On-Road Asphalt Nats! -Official Thread- (early info release)

I know Quinton said he will be announcing the spec tire today or tomorrow.
But if it is a tire that is not normally stocked what is everyone else planning on running the weekend of the 26?
I will be there for brushed stock. Unless someone proves 17.5 is faster or can at least keep up.

Right now Im thinking the 17.5 will be faster. The reason is that all of our cars have to be at 1525 grams. At carpet nats, you have to weigh in at 1418. Brushless equiped cars cant get that light that I know of... On rubber, you have to put weight in your car anyways so it might as well be a more efficient motor.
Btw, if brushed is faster then Im running it...

I would not worry about the approval list. the reason we had to do a adjustment is because we did not have good induction readings for the motors. We should have a large enough pool now to get correct numbers and slide them into the BL rules. Fixing the conditional part of the approval.
