The current batch of rear hub carriers has been misdrilled, so the best solution so far has been to either get some aluminum rear hub carriers from 3 racing or Jet Racing, or to try to redril the hole till it gives the correct amount of rear toe in.

Future batches of the rear hub carriers have been said to be much better, so this shouldn't be a problem for too much longer hopefully.

the problem isn't your blocks......it's all in hubs. You can scroll thru these threads and see what I posted as a fix for the toe end problem.

Both cars are capable of winning .... in the right hands. So you can't go wrong with either. I have a cyclone TC which I never run yet, and I feel like a winner already...

I think so, I used my spare pro4 graphite rear hubs parts to correct the rear toe difference and it fits.. only thing is I just bought the spare recently and it came from the defective batch also.. I'll buy the aluminum rear hubs soon.

anyone got a "second batch" TC kit recently? and can confirm if HB has fixed the rear hub alignment issue? I noticed new kits now have the 2008 reedy winner sticker of HARA stuck on the front of the box... or are these the same old kits (with the bad batch of rear hubs) with a new sticker?

I’m just looking for some starting gearing for an Orion 5.5 or equivalent turn. I do not have the brushless motor mount.

I plan to run it with 108/31*2.4375 = 8.491 FDR. Is it in the ballpark? I do not have the motor yet and never ran anything hotter than 10.5 on the Cyclone.
