In case HB is still brainstorming for a name what do you think about "Hello Kitty NTC"?

Look on youtube for the Minx video's, sounds like a name for that car

Interesting to see HPI did come up with this one after a long time no see. I wonder if a new 1/8 car is also on the drawing board.

Personally I don't believe in a new Proceed, yesteryear was Worlds and Hara ran a Mugen but if it's coming too then nice.
Went to YT seeking minx and couldn't see where the name fit this car but I didn't look past the bumpers and the stering rack :smiling:

This car looks to have all the modern features in new touring cars. Can't wait to see it running.

I agree...main reason why I went with Mugen after spending some $$$ on lightening my R40. If its lighter and stronger than the old R40 years ago it will be a track weapon.

You are not thinking that because J.Hudy said so, right?
No, I am saying that because it is the car to have, winning and A-maining at a lot of races in the states. I am a big Mugen fan (had MTX-2 thru MTX-4) and bought mid 2010. I will say that as compared to my MTX-4s (currently have 2), it was a lighter and easier drive with box-stock setup than my Mugens. But, I am a bigger HPI/HB fan and if this car has something, it will be added to my 200mm stable.

After the first $100, I stopped spending monies on my R40 and just used it for club racing. My Mugen MTX-4 was 100 grams lighter and just rolled with that at big races I attended. The new HB car looks promising and if the price is right, I just might get one.

And, we're off and running, LOL.....

Not sure why they are going back to niche stuff again...

Would rather have had a 4wd SC Blitz and 4wd drive buggy...

Not much info can be found on this car. A few more pics have been posted but things like name, price, and release date are nowhere to be found. Always been partial to HPI/HB products (HPI got me into the nitro side of onroad racing at the club level with the RS4 Racer 2) and would give them another chance (since this car is lightyears ahead of the R40).

This is a little unlike HPI/HB. They usually try to keep their pricing under the competition a bit but is guess money trumps the masses.

I think they are shooting there self in the foot with that pricing for that you can pick up the premier car of racing Xray or other top notch cars! But if it wins the worlds then it might be a good price point. I just never would had thought HB would price this car like this. hmmm
