Robert is the real deal. The only problem he has is that he's located in Socal.... I get to see him in a few days so it's all good.

Stop, you guys are making me but thanks for the kind words.

Just trying to help anyone out the way I would expect to be helped. Isn't this what customer service is supposed to be?

fyi,

This weekend, I was helping a fellow racer out. He could not get his bmc to calibrate with his helios. i tried for like 10 min and then we swapped speedo and it would calibrate, I swapped it back to his speedo and it now calibrated.

my guess is that he had his speedo plugged into the wrong port on the rx. so when you pull the throttle, the speedo saw no response from the rx, so it would not finish the calibration.

the speedo would go into calibration mode with 1 flash. you then push the button and the speedo flashes twice. you pull the trigger to full throttle and push the button to get it to set the full brake. the speedo should flash 2 times when setting the full brake. well it would never get there. i could not get it to flash 3 times.

my assumption is that the speedo needs to see a signal from teh rx for full throttle before it will allow you to advance. this could be the speedo plugged into the wrong port, the throttle travel set wrong, you need to set vr or anything that basically give no signal to the speedo.

I ran the BMC ver1.5 for the first time yesterday,I must say with Goop's setting bumped up the timming 1 more and it was awesome.
The SPX gets nowhere near this speedy in my opinion, the BMC just has so much more torque than the SPX it is not funny!

Guys thanks for your help.

Anyone want to buy an SPX?

when i gave you that setup i turned the timing down one just in case your gearing was off. im glad you liked it so far this is the best setup i have come up with.

I ran about 6.6to1 motor temp 61 deg c was thinking of dropping another tooth and trying 6.

That profile was awesome, I noticed there was a big difference in power with the timming change.

Thank Goop.
