Buying a shorty pack to lower weight and be more adjustable.

Has anyone used the 3k 70c shorty by protek. Its $25 cheaper and 40g lighter then the 4.1k 70c they have. Think the 3k will last me more then enough time to race, just asking if anyone uses them for this car or any 2wd mod car.

Quick question to those using losi/rb5/b4 12mm hexs wheels. I was trying to figure this out today at the track because I was fed up with not having any TD rims in stock at my lhs, but plenty of 22 and b4 wheels.

The offset difference between the jconcepts mono losi 22 wheels and the dex210 wheels is just 2mm. Not sure if this is true for the b4 rims lhs only had pin style ones in stock, if someone has some b4 hex rims and would like to check that would be great. I bought jconcept model# 2091, measured the hex, 6mm width. Now the stock 14mm hex is 4mm wide. So can it really be that simple that all I need are those jconcept hex and no spacers and the offset stay unchanged when using losi rims or any other 12mm hex rim? It just seems too good to be true which is why I ask. My tresrey b4 axels came in today so i'll be using jc relux b4 rims upfront with 22 mono rims for the rear if all this works out.

For battery http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-ROAR-Approved. I would not run for more than 8min in practice, it just takes longer to recharge. For ESC Tekin RS Pro, you can't go wrong, http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Brushless-ESC. That's my 2 cents.

hi mate, do you know how heavy this lipo is?

it has 2 weights on their website. I am assuming the heavier one is boxed up ready to be shipped weight, or its just extremely heavy for a shorty

my intellect shorty weighs 218.5 grams, so 188 grams seems optimistic
