New CRC Gen Xi 12th car.....

My work schedule has freed up and I'll be off to the IIC. Only problem is I've only raced the Xi on a Low-Medium grip carpet due to lots of dirt from the adjacent off-road track. Anyone have tire suggestions for the IIC? I've been quite happy with the Magenta or Pink front and Pink rears up to this point but don't want to end up not having what I need while I am there. I prefer a car with a ton of steering and to use my driving to get the car around the track instead of putting the 'right' amount of push in the front end like a lot/most drivers do. I'll be running 17.5 there.

"Hey Frank,
Burt from Hawaii here...just ordered me a Gen Xi with the inline conversion and the shorty pack for the IIC I'm planning on running the 13.5 blinky class and was hoping you had a good setup for the car on that track. See ya at the IIC!
Thanks
Burt"
"Hi Burt,
The box stock setup is pretty good, we put it in there for a reason
For going to Veags I would do the following things:
.50 front springs
Red or white center spring
10k in the tubes
-.5 degree of camber
10 degree caster blocks, all shims back
White side springs with just a little preload
1.5-2.0 mm rear droop
Magenta front pink rear or chrome front grey low rear tires
For 13.5 blinky I would think the R8C body, if you need more rear bite, use the Black Market body
Ride height, 3.25mm front, 3.5mm rear
That should do it. If you need anything else, feel free to ask or come see us in Vegas!

Pretty much been my exact experience with them. We typically don't have high enough bite to run these, but I ran the Chrome/Grey-Lows @ the Carpet Nats and they worked well. I switched from the Blacks to Chromes during qualifying and the car was a fair bit smoother on center but seemed to have a bit more mid corner front bite.

I used chromes last year a few times. For me they gave more bite than black, but less bite than grey, like right in between black and grey. The only drawback I found was they wore really fast, almost as fast as grey fronts do.

the new car will be out soon. be patient. trust me......if its not like the have all the kits sitting there ready to go and are just holding them. they are waiting on a few more things to come in. once they have everything, the car will be released.
