Speaking of set-ups.....check out this new software. You can get laptimes right to your computer, at the track or at home. Can create your own set-up sheets, do graphs, etc. Good way to tune your car at practice!

You can even hear your laptimes on the drivers stand with a Bluetooth or wireless headset!

Lapwatcher

They have a evaluation download

I own a Vector 98 model and recently I installed a Mega ZX21 DSII on it.. I don't know exactly what's happening, but I broke two flanged bearing and thrust bearing too... I'm bit worried
It's possible use the 960 Centax on this old car? It has larger bearings, so I think it will provide better resistence better to the engine power

hmm.. strange.. looks like the bearings are stressed..
are the bearings greased? What enginemount are you using?
i dont know if you must use Centax 1 on Vector... i dont know if Centax 2 clutch is compatible with the cars included Centax 1
Maybe if you have Centax 2 gearbox and centax clutch setup it might work better.. i dont know it was just a speculation.

I have Centax 1 on my old Mega SX engine. Works good.

the centax 2 is a better setup and yes it will work its lighter than the old one so better spool up for the motor .the clutch has a bigger inner bearing so it will help with the stress

Yes you can install the centax 2. Just mount the 1st gear of the centax the other way around, because with the centax 1 both gearings are wider apart....

Hey guys,

Recently tested the new bearing kit for the 960, and i have to agree with Scotty. The bearings really lightened up my car and with less unsprung weight works well over the bumps here at the local track.

This is a great upgrade guys!

Default 960 ceramic bearings

I m not sure with the new bearing kits. The bearings are to small for this much power. This is not good/ enough strong for a 21. powered on road car. I thing the life-s for this dimesion bearings is not long enough.

I beg to differ! in previous experiences with ceramic bearings, they lasted me a whole season last year!

dont hesitate to pick up this excellent hopup for your 960!
