Hey Chris nice to know you are still kicking.... Man, your presence is sadly over look on this thread.
Nevertheless, it is nice to see you check in some time.
However, I have bone to pick with you what’s up with the setup for x1cr

Yup still kicking just taking care of things at work. I'll PM my current set-up for the CR to you. How's the 960 doing for you?

Edit: Madbeats...Setup is in your PM.

Default 960 front to rear drive ratio chart

I have just updated the FRONT TO REAR DRIVE ratio chart that I have been giving to those racers that want it. I now have all the Serpent drive ratios included on this chart. If you want a copy of this email

[email protected]

You have to have Excel on your computer to open this file.

I can't quite tell from the photo but is that a kingpin that's screwed out of the right rear upper arm?? Following the instructions, have you set all the kingpins to a correct starting point in the rear blocks so the geometry isn't skewed?

I can't remember, but does Serpent have the 'cam' selectors for the rear inside live axle bearings, and if so, are both sides set the same? This can skew the rear end and the rear drive belt badly.

Take a good look again at everything.

Does the upper wishbone go up and down freely when not connected to the body support? Does it clicks when it is taken apart like it is in the picture or when fully assembled? Have you tried loosening the screws connecting the A-arm to the upper wishbone to see it that loosens it up?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to isolate the problem.

i am not so good to describe in english but :P

i got it working now, but i still have some strange problems... i cant mount the rear antirollbar.. the blades doesnt reach the hole..
wishbones or something is in its way for the "rod" to reach the "body"

so i guess something isnt as it should.

yes, the arms go very easy and smooth when not connected to body support.
the part with pivot balls.. what dies it call? if that is connected everything is going bad. when not connected the arms are smooth and free...

can i take photos of any special angle? or just show my car in webcam live..
no, it doesnt "click" when not connected with pivotballs etc..

where is tha A-arm?

i just cant understand why all this work for putting it together again.. i took it apart yesterday.. but there have only been problems with the most things.. :P maybe its my knowledge that isnt best and memory.. if i had been smart i had took pictures.. but..
