Back on topic... I'll be testing out the 3200 pack for the first time this weekend. I'll do some comparison runs vs 4200 packs. Both our local tracks just legalized lipos as long as they meet 1525g weight rule. I'll be testing them with the 13.5pro.

Jimmy, didn't you read the fine print? Lip is approved for everyone but you at 1525, you have to run 1625
#1294
Damn!! 1625g for me? Does that mean I get to run the 10.5 while everyone runs the 13.5??

With LiPo you have 2 choices in our range 3.7V (1S or 1 cell)[1C is a different rating] or 7.4v (2S 2 cell). yes I know their is the rumored 5V cells but they are just not stable amongst other issues. The problem with tooling a saddle pack case is that to make the case fit the exact size of a 3x3 or 2x2 you sacrifice a great deal of usable space and the tooling needed and R&D time is costly for such a small percentage of users (I personally wish 1:12 was more popular as it is such a cool class) so the investment is a far larger gamble then with other application that we are looking into. Though we do constantly revisit the idea of a saddle pack and have a design finished in place we still await the proper time to green light it.

You have to take out the battery braces. And you either have to grind away alitte of the rear layshaft bulk head, or cut a slot into the battery to fit. I just ground down alittle of the bulk head. Plus I ground down a few of the braces to help keep the battery from moving around.

so what your saying is it dose not fit in a t2

Well, ran the 3200 today with the 13.5pro in my '007. I would have to say that it's maybe 1 or 2 tenths slower than when I ran my 4200s. Same car. Same balance. Same weight. Same ratio. Same setup. Etc. It was nice though only having to run 1 pack the whole day. Only took around 35~40 minutes between rounds to repeak the pack. I had a backup 3200 pack. But never used it. Not bad so far. Will do some more testing later on. Sucky part was trying to find where to add 248g or so to the battery side to make the 1525g rule and keep the car balanced left to right! I'll have to take a pic...

The 3200 does fit the t2 '007'. The most secure way I found was to to remove the 2 centre plastic holders and file the radius off the corner ones so the 3200 sits lower and mor secure.

Adding weight is the easy part! I race a no-weight limit class and I'm trying to not add weight. The pack sits sideways in my chassis so it balances out no problem. However I'm struggling to get the car to roll properly and it's TOUGH! It's cornering sh*tty....
