jjmudd you can try yokomo usa some time this week. I'm sure
they will have Chris Tosolini's set up as soon as he gets back
from cleveland. He is also answering questions there if you have
any for him. I also heard alot of people taking of thier center brace
But it was for Asphalt aplication I don't know how it will work for
carpet. i'm guessing keeping it for carpet would be the way to
go.

I might have one to sell...
but may be too costly to ship to Austrialia for a $25.00 part.

The guy I use does mostly local stuff, I just hand him the bodies at the track. I'll ask him if he's interested in doing bodies from outside the area.

Anyone have a good set-up that they would be willing to share with me??!! Yokomo USA site is ????? Also I was told that a lot of the faster racers are removing the bottom brace on the lower deck and just running the pan with the upperdeck...any truth to this rummor?
John
Here are some tips on setting up the car for carpet w/ foams, which is difficult because the chassis is so flexible and has a long wheelbase:
*Use two top decks: this stiffens the chassis
*No stiffener: It just adds weight, doesn't stiffen the chassis side to side, only front to back
*Soft suspension: 3 hole pistons, 50 wt oil, 20 lbs springs all around (Associated Gold, Xray Light Blue, or Rayspeed Gray)
*Anti squat: 1.5 mm in rear
*Layed down shock positions: this helps keep the car from traction rolling
*Wheelbase: Shift all of the weight forward, arms all the way back (all around)
*Gold front sway bar, silver rear (both in lower position)
*Lower front arm hinge pin position w/ knuckle spacer on top
*Traction additive: something mild like TQ Orange, the chassis already creates a lot of traction
These are some starters, maybe I can post my setup sheet later, except it is for the Rayspeed Chassis

rc-zombies, check out a painter we have up here in Edmonton, Canada. www.kmaynespaint.com His stuff is by far the most original and cleanest I have ever seen anywhere including all the cars shot for all the mags. If you have a theme he can do it. Check out the Pepsi car and the X-Ray or the 1/8th buggy crocodile on his site...all hand done including lights grills etc!!!

Thanks Mo and jfw-frani...gives me a place to start!! I run Losi here but just traded a guy a Limited Edition Print for a new Losi and then traded a guy the Losi for the SSG-SD (I've got all the Losi stuff I need to keep me going for a long time but the SSG is just too sharp a car not to have. lol!! Also fun to try something different once in a while!

Randman, that's very nice color !! I like it ! is that body painted by Robert?? looks like his job.

anyways,,,I have a question for you Randman, I just bought sway bars which are upper type just like Masami uses.
I tried to put them on my RS chassis, but it seems like impossible to put them since front shocks obstructed.
so,Randman,is your chassis all RS?? even shock mount tower? if so, How did you put them on it?? could you please tell me how to put the upper sway bar on RS chassis?
THANKS !!

Anyone heard how much they might be selling the CGM for in the states or when?
BTW, if I understand right, the chassis is made of the same stuff that the XXX-S G+ chassis is.
