I hope this means the T6D is around the corner.
Sure hope so! Since the 22T 3.0 is compatible with a laydown out of the box... Makes it hard not to knee jerk and sell the T5M...

Gas truck was fun, but babies make RC budget REALLY small.... Actually non-existent.... Gotta get funds the old fashioned way... Gas truck sure was fun back in the day but I am too old, fat, and don't want to melt in the summer heat when nitro is ran... Adulting sucks!

Anyone know if I can put a Durango 15mm hex on this truck to use all the Durango 15mm wheels and tires that I already have? I'm ditching my DEST210 and going for a T5m. I'm looking at getting the Exotek locking 15mm hexes. I guess as long as the axle diameter is close it will work...

Not positive it will be a direct bolt on, or that the offset would be the same but anything can be done with a little ingenuity. I used to run ae/kyosho wheels on my dex210.

Guys is there any huge modifications in order to run the standup b6d tranny? Really the only reason for the change is so I can run the new exotek slipper shaft and eliminator, plus I have an extra case and cut gears from my stock buggy. I am assuming if the change happens can I cant run the t5m ball diff? Just strictly use the B6d ball diff? Truck is working great! This weekend for the Castle Creations offroad Jam I finished 3rd. Love this thing

Why not just run the standup tranny frm your truck, all you need is the gear case & motor plate I believe.. I built my truck with 3gear standup

My truck has the 3 gear b5m tranny in it with cut gears, aluminum shaft, and slipper eliminator including the mip pucks. I was just wandering if the b6d standup 3 gear tranny fit because I have some spare cases including cut gears and I have a the brand new exotek shaft and slipper eliminator coming that will lighten it for 17.5 st racing. just wanting to update the truck for cool factor I guess.

Ok, makes sense now. LOL.. How do you like the cut gears, how long have you run them ??, I didn't get them cause the company said in truck they aren't as durable as buggy due to the extra weight of the truck,

Honestly have ran then for probably 15-20 club races now and 2 big shows! I check them after every club day to make sure they aren't wearing and I always use a little light grease on them. I have that tranny so light right now lol I did notice a huge difference in acceleration and in air control once I lightened it because the motor can spool up quicker or vise versa.

I have the lightened shaft & mip outdrives & cvd with the pucks, just was worried about the cut gears, the guy at RC speed who does them made me nervous cause im hard on the trigger. Guess I will look into them again. Thanks.

I run the cut gears from Speedy's and have since I built the truck. I've run it a couple of times with a 13.5 and that didn't hurt them although it was outdoors. The XFactory idler shaft is really nice and has a great fit. At times I run Speedy's slipper eliminator, I switch back and forth with the triad slipper, and land on throttle all the time. I don't run pucks. The gears to me look brand new.

Okay guys. So I built my t5m last week and took it on its first run today. I had 3 thrust bolts break in my diff. I hand tightened them till I felt the spring compressing all the way then backed off 1/8th of a turn. After that I adjusted the slipper to where the front wheels were lifting off the ground a tad bit. (Slipper was nearly locked) I've had some better luck running the slipper super loose but I don't have the power I had before. I'm running an 8.0 reedy motor. Anyone else had this problem??
