Everybody got those, not just speedtechrc customers. Nice surprise, unless you are like me and run only rubber!

Anybody know brand the foam tires are? A friend told me they are good tires.

Default Not to burst the bubble !

ALL the kits in the first shipment received the Jacos from what i understand. Speedtech had nothing to do with that. Give the kudos where they belong. Steves a nice guy but RC America is the party to praise., lol

They are Jaco Foam Non 2-stage. this is the right compound for any carpet.
I think RC America gave these to all of the first kits ordered.

Oh..I thought Speedtech put them in there because the RCamerica sticker that holds the box shut was cut and I could open up the box without cutting the sticker.

Speedtech or RCamerica please let us know who we should be thanking..

foamies? score.

In AUS we get the multi-diff in our kits, but no tyres at all. (you do get rims to mount rubbers on).. The instruction manual has a list of included items, one being a turnbuckle wrench, which we didn't get in our kit either. I think it says antenna mast's are included? didnt get one...

seriously bare bones, for $638 rrp AUS. = $478 USD. expensive kit. But hey, the multidiff is nice.. heh.

As for servo's and horns. I've got a hitec HS-5925 digital servo in mine, full size. The kit doesnt come with a servo horn to suit hitec, luckily I found a blue alloy horn in the box my hitec servo came in, pretty neat. the holes in the servo horn were too small for an M3 screw, so i drilled it out on the drill press and tapped it. It's simular to the purple horn picture above. I used the second hole in from the top (which i measured with calipers to be about the same size horn throw as the factory horns included with the T2). I didnt mount my servo on the inside of the ally posts though. but at least I didn't need shims, which I did when originally trying to fit it all up with a kit-horn and KO servo.

Are people mounting the servo's flat with the chassis? or raising it up a little? curious. I mounted mine down flat, dont want crap getting stuck under there. I also think I'm going to mount my GTX differently, saw some great pics in this thread of some race T2's with GTX's. mounted on their long short edge (opposite soldering tabs)

Have cut my spektrum antenna down to 3.6" as allowed, and made the standard antenna mast holder into an adhiesive post thing which sticks to the chassis with double sided tape (as seen in below pic). antenna fits nicely inside body.. have tested range, no problemo.

some pics. inc pic of car with my nationals body shell from last yr. wanky. hah

Yep, got the Jaco single stage DPink/DPinkOr with my T2 as well.

Im prepping the chassis and top plates, shock towers... good stuff. Time consuming. Did anyone else flush/relube the bearings? Also... my final understanding of the shock difference between the FK05 and the T2 is shock shaft length? Im looking at swapping my FTTC4 for an FK05, and it has the upgraded aluminum shocks on it... but to my understanding they are NOT the newer serpent ones. If they are compatible i would like to add the aluminum shock bodies to my T2... and keep the FK05 for stock and/or 19T. Assistance? There has been much speculation... but no sure fire answer that i have seen. Thanx.
