Great job with full details.

I have a question about setup. Has anyone found a good basic all around setup posted on the websites? The few people that has ran the Losi in my area talk about the rearend breaking loose coming out of the corner. I think they may ran the setup the instructions called for.

54 pistons/40wt oil in the froint shocks.
3/3 rear plate
inner hole on the rear hub.

Yes they are. They come with the servo you buy.

Default Clutch Bearing pole..

How much run time are you getting out of your bearings?
Or how often are you changing them?

I only got about 2 hours track time out of my stock bearings before I changed them. I had a couple bearings that were getting notchy already. I have installed TKO Ceramics since then and they are well worth the extra money!! If you clean them and preform routine maintenance on them they will last you a VERY LONG time.

The RTR comes with them also. Look in your radio box. The grommets are locked onto the servo using a brass sleeve. You slide the brass sleeve in the hole of the grommet(from the bottom) after the grommet is in the ears of the servo. This locks the grommet in place. Do not over tighten the screws that hold the servo in place just tighten down till the screw is flush with the top of the rubber grommet. This way the servo can flex back and forth if get too much load.

A little question about the clutch. I was running my 8ight RTR this past weekend and noticed the clutch was not engaging as well as before. So I opened it up and found one of the shoes was stuck from the mushrooming of the aluminum shoes. I tried to loosening the clutch pins and they both stripped. I was using a good 1/16 screwdriver too. I noticed they had locktite on them when I managed to get one out by slotting it for a screwdriver the other broke in half and so I have to replace the flywheel now . How many of you are using locktite on these? Is it nessessary? It is going to get old having to replace the flywheel each time I have to rebuild the clutch because the clutch pins are soft.

I used locktite on my flywheel, but not very much force in tightening them. That way I know I can get them back off. So far, they haven't come apart on me since the first small front bearing let go, and I was able to swap shoes/springs pretty easily.

yes, use one drop of blue locktite but don't "torque" the screw down. Just wind the screw down until it touches the flywheel and then your done. If you tighten the screw down too much not only will you strip out the flywheel but you will put pressure onto the clutch shoe as well making it hang up or stall late.....

Is there somewhere that shows the differences between the RTR and the Pro kit...in terms of performance parts on the buggy itself?! Thanks
