Any1 use tire warmers on asphalt on pit 571/572?

If so what temp/time do you like?

With traction compound or dry?

Just got my first rc tire warmers and would like to get good starting temp/heating time.

30* over ambient temp in the rear 20* in front
Clean the tires with simple green, apply paragon but wipe off immediately and then turn the warmers on.

Thanks, is that celsius?

We donīt have paragon or simple green available but we do have LRP or robitronic asphalt additives(cs high grip) .

I guess quick additive on quick additive off will do the same?

Simple green is it the all purpose cleaner

http://www.simplegreen.com/products_...se_cleaner.php

Do you apply directly to the tires and clean right away.

What do you guys recommend for a track that gets up to 120+ degrees? In This lovely Florida weather. What would be a good tire combo? I am running foams right now, but I go through them like crazy.

The LRP will be fine IMO pits dont really like to be soaked, at least not on asphalt.

I use Simple green to clean immediately after your run and when i get home i clean the tires with simple green and put them in a bag while they are still wet, it is really good for conditioning.

PIT 0572/0573 Hard rear, med front is a great combo on a hot track. Soft fronts also work well depending on your driving style.

The Asian On Road Championship in Melbourne, Australia in early July is using Ride R1's as control tyres on CRC carpet. I've tried searching this thread for advice but couldn't find anything.

I run a Tamiya F104 v2 and have used Ride R1's successfully on outdoor asphalt but I've never run on carpet before.

Does anyone have advice for running R1's on carpet?
Any thoughts on traction compound to use?

Thanks in advance.

Ride R1s are not good carpet tires. Just not enough friction to get them hot enough to work. They are very good asphalt tires.

We have just interviewed Ride about their F1 tyres - in particular the R1's. You can read it here.
