What´s the advantage do you think with that combo? I race 5 cell modified.

Thanks for the congrats guys... IT was a awesome weekend. Kinda of like the us indoor champs but i was able to get modified this time ...
As for the pulley size's and the effects.. I in my opinion feel like the smaller pulleys or the 1.71 ratio is a little more steering and it also feels like the car accelerates better . Now if i was running Rubber tires i would run the 2.0 and foam the 1.71. All my testing this has been the best result for me...
Any other questions let me know..
Mike

I've heard this about the smaller pulleys before and all I can think of is that the car also decelerates faster, which for modified would help to get the car to steer better. Do you agree? All I know is, your car was probably one of the (if not the) best modified foam cars I've ever seen...crazy steering!
Good job last weekend, see ya at the races...

Ok I am going LIPO.
Who has the best weights to balance out the car?
I may have heard someone offered lead that fit down in the battery slots.
What is the heaviest material available that takes up the least space?
Thanks Fred

Some people are saying tungsten carbide, much easier to find/handle. I have yet to see someone offering weights made of it. Corally offers the screw in brass weights that key into the chassis. Something tells me that you'd need a lot of those. If you want to try lead weights first, go to a tire dealer and see if you can score some of the weights they stick to custom wheels. For some reason they look exactly like the weights that AE sells.
