Brilliant idea. Works like a charm. For anyone wanting to do the same thing, go to "User CP" and on the sidebar, find "Settings & Options." Click "Edit Options" then scroll down to "Thread Display Options." In the "Thread Display Mode" dropdown box, choose "Linear - Newest First." Make sure to click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page. Now all your threads are going to display with the newest message first. It takes very little getting used to and I think it's more intuitive anyway.

I really think that this thread is fixable. Besides all the history of USVTA racing can be found on this thread.

Default Hey Robk

Are the new Novak X-drive speedos VTA legal? Novak has discontinued all the regular Havoc and GTB speedos.

Yeah. We're going to be needing a rules update soon. X-drive speedos, the new Novak club race speedo, Samarium Cobalt rotors, vented end bells, those dorky ceramic bearings. I wish the rules would have started out with only the stock 25.5 Super Sport motors allowed. The Ballistics are harder to police. I think it's been said here before, but if these new X-drive speed controls prove to make all the other speedos on the allowed list obsolete, then they should not be approved. Then you have the problem of how do you know if someone is using their old GTB2, or one of the new ones with X-drive? Plus, that would leave only the Club Race (assuming it's approved), Mongoose, Edge and Cirtix as currently manufactured legal speed controls (I think). It's a whole lot to ponder. Glad I'm not in charge of making decisions.

Default tire situation

does anyone have any contact with HPI to know what is going on with our VTA tires?

I am hearing rumblings that some of the distributors are starting to de-list some of our tires/wheels...

My distributor has them listed as late February early March.
Horizon hobby is no longer a distributor of HPI if your looking there.
That is why there listed as discounted there
