Default setup for 2wd with 13.5

Hey all, I have not raced electric 1/10 2wd for 10 years and esc have changed alot, also now brushless is the in. My question is can you all give me a basic all around set up for 2wd buggy with a 13.5 (ballistic) (I use to be orange only and am a convert to Tekin) It is a bit overwhelming with the adjustment available with these esc, I am sloowly getting the hang of it but have alot to learn. Thank you in advance, oh I do have the hotwire and have downloaded the vegas 208 sofware.

Well i wanted to test my speed today against the other racers , but tha didn't happen , the rain decided to come and play , so fast laps were out the window

The speedo worked perfectly in its waterproof freezer box

I now need a v208, 13.5 set up for an indoor track with a 30m straight and the rest is technical , it is low grip too (for carpet)

any ideas for a starting point as i have no idea

Thanks in advance Phil

Sorry up front if I overlooked something.` I briefly searched the last few pages of the forum.

I'm looking for a 17.5 setup for the new 208 software. I got a few off of Tekin's website but I would like to compare several. I will be using this for rubber touring car in doors on carpet. Track size is on the small side. Any help would be great. If you find it easier, you can PM me. Thanks.

Thumbs up Profiles

To choose from TP1-TP5 and C1-C2 without using the HW, turn the esc on, press and release the mode button. The first LED will blink. Press and release the mode button until the LED next to TP lights up. Press and release the increase button then to choose between the timing profiles. Led1=TP1 LED5=TP5. LED 6 and 7 = C1 and C2 respectively. Of course the values for C1 and C2 can only be adjusted via the hotwire.

The directions to change timing profiles are the same as whats in the manual to change throttle profiles
Thanks I looked on Tekins web site for over an hour to find this information when they add new features they should explain them a litte better a video would be nice

It's explained in the release notes. While I agree that the site is not the best for information, this was actually pretty easy to find. This was on the 208 page that said "read the rest of the 208 release notes" Just click on it and its a pdf of everything that is new or changed.

I was looking on Tekin's site for setup sheets for 1s 13.5 WGT but couldn't find any. There are a couple of 1/12 13.5 setups on there, so my question is shouldn't those be fairly close due to the same power and motor? Maybe just drop a tooth or two on the pinion due to the difference in weight? (730g for 1/12, 930g for WGT). Or am I way off here?
