Its nice to see someone stop by and dreg up an old conversation for a couple of months ago...
EVERY TOURING CAR KIT IS OVER-PRICED!!
that's the bottom-line...we, the consumers, pay for a company's "developemental" costs - not saying the don't do legit testing/research/designing...
The only way the kits will drop in price is for US (the racing community as a whole) TO STOP BUYING INTO THE TC-OF-THE-MONTH-CLUB...that's what killing touring car racing - but yet every manufacturer is releasing a new chassis and the magazines hock their manufacturer's wares saying how "this i the greatest thing and is NEEDED for racing" blah blah blah
I could go on like this for hours its a sucky circle
If the TC kit is over-priced for that YOU think feel is sub-pro-level parts, THEN DON'T BUY IT...but coming in here and start bitching about the price don't do anything
man...that was a long way to say that - I hate getting off on tangents

Awesome, you'll have to post those setups up for all to see. I've been running 13.5 for the most part. SIR is waay to small to be running mod without it being a white knuckle experience, so most don't run it. I did do a little 10.5 testing last night, but the setup still needs a little work. It's a little pushy still...

Is the setup you gave me, the one you say is a little pushy in 10.5 ? if so what have you done to make it any better?

i know it! The cyclone S is $119 new and its all plastic, i guess some aluminum bullheads, pro spec diff, the new front diff, and some other little bits triple the price of the kit.
Haha i just found the new TC also uses plastic bearing holders...cmon guys, is there anywhere else you coula cheaped out? Im surprised the bulkheads are alloy

Your not going to believe this.... I put the pro spec alum. diff in front last winter about a mouth before carpet was over and have not touched it sense. I think I can get the whole summer in with it, I put the POM pro spec in back last month and it's as smooth now as it was when I put it in and nether one slips at all. (use the stick on Shields) I run mod and drive at lest 2 times a week on asphalt !!!!

Hi Guys
Just wondering if those of you that run the LRP Sphere TC in the Cyclone TC wouldnt mind showing me your placement etc, the way I currently have it placed look's way to exposed and in a crash I dont think it would survive.
Cheers

I don t have a pic but I put it with the sensor slot facing the front and the tabs to the rear and the capacitor glued to the heatsink on the side.
like blackedoutrevos mounting. it works great

Wow! that is the most rediculous wiring job I've ever seen, is that your car or Black'doutrevo's? I want mine to look like that!
his but mine looks almost exactly like it. but with a spektrum micro and servo mounts.
