if you take a small flat file, file the radiused edges on the slots in each corner to drop the cells a little deeper.this will square the corner up on the cell slots.what is happening is the sides of the cells are hitting the corners of the slots and not allowing them to fully seat inside the slot.being that the edges are pre beveled, this will only take a few minutes.if you have any problems with this i can do them for you buddy
also make sure you are using the aluminum battery strap or something a bit more rigid than the plastic one.hope this helps.one way or another we will get your batteries to stay in your car buddy

Jason, I noticed on the TC4 chassis that you have holes for the TC4 str'g rack, the TC3 rack and the NTC3 rack. What effect does each one have on str'g ? My guess is that the TC3 rack is the most aggressive.
Thanks.

Default tc3 batts problem

I was having the same problem. I did 2 things... ordered the BMI strap..wider and doesn't seem to allow the cells to shift sideways and ordered the FT battery spacer. This doesn't allow the batts to slip forward. Was a little mroe money... but worth it. I havn't had the problem since.

jag88,

the tc4 rack location is changed from stock for more usable ackerman positions.the tc3 rack is for those who like that feel better, and the front ntc3 rack position is for a no ackerman setting.the tc4 rack and the tc3 rack are going to be the most adjustable.the tc4 rack is mostly maintenece free so most like that.

as for thew battery strap,i do offer a battery strap for the tc3.i have been slacking on website updates. i will get it updated very soon.if anyone has any questions, feel free to call the shop.

Is BMI going to make chassis for the X-Ray FK'05? If so, when and will it be made to accept 3700's?

My dad just got back from meeting Sean (N4S) to pick up my TC4 chassis and all I have to say is WOW! The chassis looks great! Another excellent job by Jason. I'm going to start on it tonight and have it ready for practice on saturday and racing on sunday and then bringing it to the superior state race the following weekend.

Jason - thanks! That's top notch work, that is
