Well, for the last two weeks, I've done a few things to my R40, that Fastharry and AMG have said to do, and let me tell you all this. I'M ALL OVER THOSE MUGEN's now. Wow, that push is gone, and now I can work more on my driving, rather than the car.

We raced on a preped track, big, lots of turns, high traction. I put 120,000 wtg diff lube in the front, 5,000 in rear, harder rear shocks, 55 wtg oil in rear, stock black springs in front with 45 wtg oil. Running HPI 37 shore all the way around (cold night racing) running 5.5 mm front and rear.

Car is flying. Just a few more adjustments, and need more track time, and I'm really liking my setup now.

Thanks Fastharry and AMG for the tips and info you give us....

R40 long-awaited 0.8M2 speed new appearance. In comparison with normal, modification of gear ratio becomes possible finely, corresponds to severe setting. It actualizes substantial light weight conversion simultaneously, contributes to also the improvement of maneuverability.

This thing looks awesome. 100 grams will make a huge difference to the car. Add in the titanium screwset and you are probably 130g or so lighter.

My car is running awesome. I have only played with the clutch a little bit and that is it. In fact I am still running the kit setup with a different rear diff and lighter rear shock oil. It is easily one of the faster cars at our local track.

Mostly the other guys run NTC3, a few MTX3 and V1R as well. The usual stuff.

I haven't ran against a 710 since the changes to the car. Most of the cars I'm running against are the MTX3's and a few NTC3's. This weekend is the big test, big track, and its a state race, so I'm sure to run against a few Serpents.

Thanks again AMG and Fastharry....
