Default Need help from expert

I always have problem selecting my tires.
When i heard ppl are using 36R, i always need to use 32R
when i heard ppl they are running 32R, I always need to use 28R to have good result.

Usually how long does the tire last? at least 10 runs? Or my tires are fully worn... so i need to use a softer one.

36R all the way.......during the day I may even use 40R. PYC has more grip than EGR but it should be pretty much the same. Use FXII traction compound if you are struggling for grip. A set of 36R should last a good 30+ packs.....I like to rotate the tires L to R but not front to back. You will find the fronts wear quicker....in this case keep the rears....open a new set...run these down. Now you will end up with 2 sets of half worn rears....these will be good for another 10-20 packs!!

In fact use traction compound at all times.....36R seems to run funny without it!

One more thing...the insets have a lot to do with the traction too. Yok 039F are good but you will be lucky if you can re-use them once. I am using Sorex Type C Med or Firm...these appear to give me much better wear patterns and grip...also they are almost like new after wearing out one set of tires!

After a day of GP running on the track...the traction gets quite high.....I have notice a marked increase in the grip at EGR after the GPs have gone home!
