Hi,

I am new to 23T. The motor is very very very hot after run, is it normal ?? Will it harmful to the comm, rotor or the motor itself ??

Thanks.

improper gearing will make the motor very very hot ! check your brushes and see if the end that contact with the comm has changed color.

either too much under gear or over gear will cause this problem.

Definitely too much burn. Improper gear ratio. 23T should be geared at around 5 or 6.

With a total gearing of 5-6 for 23T (which is about right). You have to be carefully about how you "punch" the throttle coming out of corners.....go easy on it and don't "stab" 100% throttle all the time. It's easier said than done....I know!!!

I use 5.2 @ EGR
Speed and power is OK, but my skill and my tuning make me can't follow those PRO in the 'twisty' region

and the brush body. It looks like there is some decoloration by high temp.

Yep...its burnt....long term running like this would not be good for the motor. If you are running around 5.x final drive ratio they I would go easier on the throttle.....
