Can you do a B44.1 video on diff and slipper settings? or is there one out there already? Thanks

I'm afraid I don't have a 4wd drive vehicle to use for the video...I would be happy to, if you send me one...

I'll look around online and see if I can find any other demonstrations...

Im sorry if this has already been asked or if you mentionned it in the videos (ipad doesnt like flash...)

When rebuilding a gritty diff, do you re-use the balls if they were carbide ? Clean them and re-use after turning the diff rings to the new side ?

Personally, I re-use carbide balls for 2 to 3 rebuilds...

I guess that as long as the diff doesnt feel "gritty" as soon as the rebuild is done, its fine ?

Also, do you find that getting earplugs in the outdrives helps keep the dust out ? I have been using that for a while and find it very helpful.

Correct...

I'll have to try that, it's a good idea...

Cut them just barely long enou to offer only a slight pressure against the cvd, smaller end towards the diff center, obviously

They will expand and prevent dirt to get in the diff, at least most of it !

Mine are usually about 3/8 to 1/2 in length...

Default Thanks

Thanks for the thread, I just got a brand new SCT SC10 I built as per your instructions but now have a clicking noise coming from the transmission.

Have I not tightened it enough ? what is the possible cause ?

Sorry if you guys have heard it before I tried search thread and came up with not much
