The V2 didn’t come with a body, but the obvious choice is the DESC410R, which is what I’m referring to. The DESC210R has a very distinctive looking body that in my opinion is just awesome.

You're right but the DESC410RV2 came with a body. Too many DESC410 models..
DESC410 CLEAR BODY SET (V2)(Includes DECALS & MASKS) from Team Durango, TD402029
I have the OG DESC410 body on my Tekno. It's so clunky and crappy but I like it.

question gents, and this could be an assembly issue.
with this exotek chassis +8mm, the motor plate does not make contact with the chassis itself. mid motor.
I didn't pay attention to this when I disassembled the two rollers i bought. But this seems peculiar to say the least. I have already 'braced' the diff case as its one of the mods I picked up here...... but wouldnt that space between the plate and chassis contribute to breaking the diff case itself?
is this space between chassis and plate normal? or am I missing something?

I melted a gear box on my SC due to an outdrive bearing failing during a race.
