Jason do you mean the upper deck has been lowered? Any chance we can get a pic of the new motor mount? I need something new to stare at while I wait for my BMI kit. Can't wait. Jason do you have any Xray05s in stock?

My FK05 kit arrived yesterday. It looks great and I can't wait to hit the track with it.

Default Two questions

I was wondering where you guys would recommend mounting a personal transponder on an FK05 and what are most of you using to secure your batteries, the strap or tape?

Doug:

Hi,

We tape our batteries in.......but then again I always have,
as for the TP's......we eithr mount them on the side of thr servo or up front between the bumper and the dff. it's somewhat of a tight fit but they do fit.

Thanks

I have a question - is there anything that can be used to shine up the bottom of a graphite (BMI) chassis after running it on asphalt??????????

Motor spray or r/c body cleaner will work good on the bottom of the chassis. It gets a lot of the dirt and stuff out of the scratches and makes them a bit less noticable.

Getting out of class now and heading over to the track for some practice. The nats warm ups are this weekend and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I do good!

Default Jason...

any testing done with the new motor mount? They look very nice, but taking out more weight? Will there be anything left? That's great, I hope it can be done without loosing it's strength. Most of the plate car designs have the upper deck screwed into the motor mount to make it stable. Glad to see this car won't hold a tweak like most of the others do. Some other nice features is that with an upper deck, the front imput shaft won't shift in a collision and bind up the drivetrain. Less weight. Very nice.
