hello there
can anyone suggest me ESC orca MKII 2.1 settings? im looking for smoothness, not punchy. combo with orca RX2 10.5t motor.
i'm play at pretty big track, highspeed with tactical flow and my currebt FDR is 5.9 but still punchy. Im looking for great top end but at the same time not lose the power at tactical, can someone suggest the esc setup?
Thanks

1.Timing 0
2.Turbo Delay .1
3.Turbo Timing 32 .
4.Turbo Interval 4
5.Punch 2
6.PWM 64
7.Drag Brake 0 This really depends on how you like to drive
8.Initial Brake 4
9.Brake Frequency 1.1
Obviously you will need to drive the car to see if you are happy with its performance. But this should give you a really smooth car, with tons of top speed. If it is still not fast enough just raise the turbo timing, if you are still accelerating before you reach the end of the straight you can lower the turbo interval to make the timing come on harder.

Based on your gearing I would start with
1.Timing 0
2.Turbo Delay .1
3.Turbo Timing 32 .
4.Turbo Interval 4
5.Punch 2
6.PWM 64
7.Drag Brake 0 This really depends on how you like to drive
8.Initial Brake 4

and 1 more, what happen if i increase the timing?

If you want more top speed. I would increase your turbo, up one adjustment at a time until you are reaching a good top speed. You can also make the turbo come on harder if you lower the timing interval. Or if you want it to start a little sooner you can lower the turbo delay to .05. or to Off. I only use the Off setting on small tracks. Try this and see if it is better.
1.Timing 0
2.Turbo Delay .1 If you want more push sooner decrease this to .05
3.Turbo Timing 40 .Change this first, check temps. This will give you more top speed. If everything else feels alright but you are still not fast enough just keep increasing this until you get to the speed you need.
4.Turbo Interval 4
5.Punch 2
6.PWM 64
7.Drag Brake 0 This really depends on how you like to drive
8.Initial Brake 4
9.Brake Frequency 1.1
If you are still not fast enough try these settings Adding a little timing may help push the 10.5 harder. I would definitely keep an eye on temps though.

Timing is like adding endbell timing. It is applied to the motor throughout the RPM band. I don't like using it except for stock motors. If you add timing the motor temps will increase, you might get some more top speed but it always makes the motor feel softer in the bottom. If you think you need a little more then start at the first setting and watch your motor temps.

Timing: 15-21deg
Turbo delay: 0
Turbo Timing: 52-56deg
Turbo Interval: 4-6
Punch: 8
PWM: 32K
Drag Brake: Personal Preference
Initial Brake: Personal Preference
FDR: 6.5-7.0
Motor Endbell Timing: +1-2 notches (Counter clockwise)
I believe this should work well on a big track. As for punchy feeling. I would try to have a different ratio. But running a higher ratio(Lower number) would require you to decrease the Timing and Turbo Timing. Increasing the Turbo Interval would also smooth out the throttle feel.
Hope the above helps.

I have tried the following setting on software version VTC 111118.
Timing: 15-21deg
Turbo delay: 0
Turbo Timing: 52-56deg
Turbo Interval: 4-6
Punch: 8
PWM: 32K
Drag Brake: Personal Preference
Initial Brake: Personal Preference
FDR: 6.5-7.0
Motor Endbell Timing: +1-2 notches (Counter clockwise)

Timing: 3-6 deg
Turbo delay: 0.05
Turbo Timing: 48-56deg (depends on your style)
Turbo Interval: 7-8
Punch: 1-3 (i found out that it makes the tyre less spin, thus make the car easy to drive)
PWM: 64K
Drag Brake: Personal Preference
Initial Brake: Personal Preference
FDR: 5.8-6.0
Motor Endbell Timing: +1-2 notches (Counter clockwise)
Can someone test it and give your feedback? thanks
