Hi guys,
I was wondering what was the F/R weight distribution on the FF03. I don't own one but I need a ballpark for a project of mine. No guessing please, just someone who took 2 scales and did the math with a stock ff03 on rubber tires, with 5mm -ish ride height and 5000-ish lipo. Thanks in advance ! I'll go and ask the same question on the Serpent thread.

hey guys. Just got my FF03 carbon upgrade last week. I built it and gave it a few runs on my local track here in Malaysia. Observations are:
Tons of steering! The car just loves the corners now. I'm not quite used to it and ended up steering into all the curbs initially! It's also a lot more precise when taking long sweepers.
The standard TRF springs seem to be a little too hard for the front. The track i run on is a little bumpy. On the FF03 Pro, i had no issues really but with the carbon upgrade the car seems to bounce quite a lot on those sections. I'm picking up some Ride matched springs later today and hopefully this weekend i'll go experiment with them.
Anyone else have any feedback?

My FF03 is always outgunned by the Sakura Zero S all round.

I'm looking for a touring car body that fits the FF-03. I tried the mazda speed 6, doesn't look so great. Does Tamiya have a body for the car that similar to a touring car? or is there an existing touring car body that's better suited. The problem is the fact that the front tires are so far back and the rear tires are so far back. I need a body that compensates for everything placed up front on a FF03.
Please help. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

That's strange. If you go back quite some posts in this thread there's someone who managed to fit a speed 6 body on an FF03. And it looked might good too. Didn't notice anything strange with the position of body on the chassis.

Before I finished that body I used a Subaru WRC 2005 Monte Carlo body as a placeholder. But my gearing was off so the car wasn't moving very fast

I use the Mazda 6 on my ff03.. U have to remove/shave down the bumper and have the body posts in the upper position in the front... I'll try post a pic of it!!!

Hey guys, I'm working on my FF03R and cannot seem to find any BA7 screws in any of the RC parts bag. This is the countersunk head 3x12mm. Has anyone had the same experience.
Also, how much do I have to sand the front damper stay piece that goes over the gear case. Do I have to keep sanding until it sits over the gear case without touching the sides at all? Right now I sanded a lot and it still requires me to force it down to keep the damper stay and gear case down on chassis.

Anyone know if there's any other outdrives that fit the FF03r gear diff that are harder and maybe uses blades... My FF03 eats em for breakfast!! 15packs on indoor track with boosted 17.5 is all they last!
