If you need more steering, move the scrub shims in the front to the outside of the knuckle.
"Scrub - Changing the shims on the rear axle to change width/scrub is mainly used to generate steering - If you use all shims on the outside, you create more steering but you also will hurt the rear tires as the car slides more. I normally try to run 1 shim outside and 3 shims inside so I can keep sliding and tire wear to a minimum." Josh Cyrul
As far as a set-up, what would you like? Easy to drive, lots of traction? What is the track like where you are racing? Is it slick, or has good grip?
Let me know and I can send you a setup tonight.

BTW I ll be using Zytec and P909 body, which body position will be good for these bodies and from where do you measure it?[/QUOTE]
You measure from the front of the bumper to the leading edge of the body. I run the 909 and I have it anywhere from 11mm to 15mm. Never tried the Zytec.

Thanks for the info Erock. My local track has medium grip but I ll be racing first time with this car at my neighboring country which they said will be resurface soon so I m guessing that that it has good grip.
About the body, the more i put it forward the more steering I will get?
BTW will MRX4 one piece engine mount fit in this car?

Yes on the body.
I don't know for sure about the engine mount...
I'll send you a set-up that should be easy to drive and you can go from there.
BTW what clutch are you running? 4D? 3D?

4D Clutch
What is the part number for the 4D Clutch assembly?

Hello Doug:
Long time no see my friend! How is my favorite island?
I believe the complete 4-D part it is FM428
I actually have a complete 4D set brand new that came with my EVO Kit and I'll even throw in an additional new 4D clutch shoe for $35.00 total for you.
I have been running the 3D so I didn't use it.
You pick up the shipping charges unless you have someone flying down... Let me know.
Paulie
p.m. me if you wish to discuss.

hi guys,
just a small question, what 3D clutches are you using and why not use the 4D clutch included?? is the 3d clutch better than the 4d??
are .12 size engine clutches work on the .21??
cheers

I use the Orion lightweight flywheel with the Kyosho 3D shoes. It's alot lighter than the stock 4D.
Not sure about the 1/10 stuff. Paulie might know that one?

I think you meant a 4D clutch with 2 flyweights. I've tried this configuration. The end result is that I would have allot more slipping throught the power band because the two weights can't hold the pressure plate long or hard enough based on the spring and tension I use for high bite tracks. Biproduct of this effect is poor fuel milage and less performance. Honestly I suggest running either clutch stock. You need to try both 3D and 4D and decide which is right for your application. Hope this helps.
