Yup, Empire is alive and doing fine - thanks for the interest. The website is down because we are transitioning to Serpent Products. If you need Kyosho parts:
Contact Sam at Kamikaze Hobbies. He knows his stuff. Empire racing is now Supporting Serpent America and we are in development with the 966 and 933.
Kyosho items are still available at the retail level

I also noticed that your e-mail address wasn't working either so I got concerned.
Will empire continue developing product for Kyosho as well? or is it only Serpent from now on?
Thx!!

Once Kyosho lost interest in on-road in the US we made the decision to change manufactures. I have to say we are very impressed with Serpent's products and support. So, that means no more development on the K platform. Snake only.

Help with the build...M3 evo!!
Guys:
I'm attempting to assemble my new M3 evo....when fully bolting down the front bulkheads to the chassis (with front one-way), the front one-way can no longer rotate (seized). When loosening the bolts, the one-way is a little bit more free to rotate (not as smooth as I would like).
Did someone experience the above during the build process?
I need suggestions as it seems that I cannot bolt the front bulkheads down without seizing the front drivetrain...????
Looking forward to everyone's responses.

If you have to wide of spacer behind the one-way outdrives and you put the axels into them that can bind stuff up too.

Update
Aren't the eccentrics supposed to be invertable to adjust belt tightness??
At least that's what the manual infers...
thoughts?
#773
Or maybe you have the front belt too tight.
Either way, you must be doing something wrong. I have never had an issue building the front end and never needed to dremmel anything.
Love the Kyosho quality!

Do RB tires fit the M3 evo?
Besides Kyosho red box, what other tires are recommended for this chassis?

Front Universal Swingshaft
Anyone know whether one must use the SP one-touch stopper (FMW26) with the Front Universal Swingshaft (FMW36)?
Just tried to install the front universal swingshaft only to find out that I cannot lock the parallel pin (FM324) in place with the set screw unless I use the SP one-touch stopper (FMW26).
Has anybody used the Front Universal Swingshaft (FMW36) with stock one-touch stopper (FM318BL)? Feasible?
Thx

Is shaving a portion of the engine block necessary?
Did anyone have to do this to clear the rear the rear pulley?
If so, what dremel tip is recommended to perform the cutting?
Appreciate all responses to my previous questions.
thx
