We can only guess it is good.......because Baker used it. And I think it will cost around $80 or more.
At least, you wont need to worry about your clutch is slipping when you are powered by some JP or Rody engines.

I'm kinda hoping Dennis will do his magic , and rework the rd pipe.
I think I will try RDLogic Turbo pipe in near future to see how it compare with AE stock pipe, in first hand.

bbntc3, I think the main benefit for RDLogic pipe is it let the engine reach the high RPM in shorter time, am I right? Did you ever try to shorten the RDLogic manifold to get the pipe even shorter?

Thanks!

I am just guessing..........the $135 (not $150) is full RETAIL...actually price should be lower.
However, if the YOKOMO decided to sell it to LHS for full retial.......you must be CRAZY to spend $135 for just a centax.

RD pipe is a 1 piece pipe...shorten the header will take a lot of welding and custom work.

The RD pipe sounds better, tunes and stays tuned better, less back pressure, which means less wash board effect in the fuel tank. Revs better??? I guess you could say that. We need it to get up on the pipe fast on short tracks, the Rd does that.
Like Rookie said the RD is a 1 piece, would have to cut it and reweld it, never done that ,the pipe is short enough.
It must be pretty good. When the LD3 came out , Team guys all switched to the RD pipe and look what happened, 2 months later ofna has a RD look alike pipe in production. And now I see AE is copying it in there own way.

Default blown engine

Maybe this is a dumb question. My engine blew. I am now installing a new engine. Can I reuse the manifold and pipe previously attached to the blown engine with my new engine? Would the broken metal dust from the blown engine get into the manifold and pipe?

Do I need to clean the pipe and manifold before installing it with the new engine? How do I clean them? spray the inside of the manifold and pipe with brake cleaner?
