Default rs4 3 ss chassis on the ground

my rs4 3 ss chassis on the ground . i followed the manual when i built it . but there seems to be no suspension at all the wheel shaft's are tilted up and the chassis is hiting my bench .. this is my fifth kit so i'm not new to it ...

my kit scrapes the ground alot too, the shocks just suck on this kit. you should be able to get it sitting off the ground though.

i meen it scraps the bench . my pro2 has better clearance ..

Recheck all shock tower positions. The length of the shock.



Here is the best picture I could find off hpi for how this thing should look.

it's mounted like the pic but still on the ground i'll check my shocks . i used 60wt in them ..

The shocks dont look very adjustable why not try some spacers on the shocks

the manual says build shocks to 64mm well that's just duckie . but they are not correct they need to 70mm they are now 70mm but i have the biggest spacer in the also . i will need to get the super shock set .. thanks for all the help ..

i faced this problem too maybe juz add more spacer and adjust the purple thing lower (the part where u clip the shock to the chassis) so that the chassis will not be that low. other wise get a new shock as the stock ones sucks. i'm new to this hobby so is juz my 2cent worth.

I'm pretty sure that you have done somthing incorrectly. HPI has sold a zillion of those kits and would have fixed a problem as basic as that. Just recheck the mounting points for the shocks. Did you attach the ball ends in the holes shown in the manual? Is the rear shock tower installed correctly? It should look exactly like the picture posted above when you are finished. Maybe you could post a picture of your car. It might make it easier to figure out what went wrong.
