I have not broke mine yet. But I want to try the steel ones or put a one way in it. Steel = peice of mind, 1 less thing to think about. Like when the cars in the air please no please no, close one.

I can't recall if this was asked already, but I'll ask again. Do the belts from the 415/MS/MSX (Std/Low friction) fit on the 415 MRE? Are they the same in terms of the way the teeth are designed? Any help will be appreciated.

Steel front outdrives may cause more chatter do to the weight. According to David Jun, "this is called the FLYWHEEL AFFECT". This is why TRF drivers use aluminum front universals and the delrin outdrives. The lighter the better

THE BELT ARE NOT THE SAME ITEM. For MRE ,the belt is longer than 415 msx.'Cos 36t pulley is bigger than standard pulley. But you can use standard belt by adjust tansion bearing holder.

hey randy welcome to the team. the 4mm chassis is sweet and my car is dialed on carpet with foams but the hpi knuckles are super weak. they break on the slightest tap! do you guys run the hpi knuckles or the old type suspension. what is your opinion on which works better. i appreciate the help thanx.

Hey guys, Xray owner who's looking for help in order to decide whether he should invest in a set of tam fluorine shocks here definitely sold on the performance aspect of it, but I would like to know whether the dimensions actually fit in the car. Could one of you please be so kind as to measure the top to bottom (ie top ballcup/cap external plastic edge to bottom ballcup external plastic edge) dimension and post it on this forum? would help me a lot... thanks!

They fit straight on. You'll need to use tamiya hardware to fit them on.

Ok I hope people on this forum can help me out. I put the Marc R. vegas setup on my car and man it is very very very twitchy and aggressive and I can barely hold it can someone please give me a setup for foam tires.

Haven't got the best knowledge of foam set-ups but you could use less additive on the front tires (half additive maybe) or put harder oil in the front shocks to tame it down a bit. If that don't work move the rear shocks in a hole in the rear or out a hole (on the shock towers) on the front.
