So you are going to buy a car of lesser spec when you already have a car with a better spec level unbuilt??? All just because it is the latest release, as tryhard put it just buy the scoop.....

Corey good to see you on here now also.

There is a hole cut out at the below the chassis & there will be a alu airduct which gives a diffuser effect to suck air from under the chassis to the motor. Basically is cooling for the motor.

The MSXX upper deck looks funny... And the lower deck is 2.5mm, so is thinner than the MRE which is 3mm, if I'm not wrong.

Looks like I might just get the airduct & the one-way (just as tunning option)...

Think the MRE is 2.5mm as well... but I haven't measured it, so can't be certain. Something to check tonight.

The MRE comes with a 2,5 mm chassis. I'm pretty sure it's a different quality carbon fibre used though as it feels stiffer than the MS or MSX chassis. Not 100% on this though.

Can someone with a MRE please post the part numbers for the steering system and also the rear heatsink bulkhead.
I am trying to get RC-Champ to order the parts for me.
Want to try converting my MSX to MRE minus the internal ratio change.

So far, these are the part numbers I can find:

Steering Arm #9808066
Steering Post #9804266
Steering Bridge # __________
Rear Heat Sink Bulkhead #__________
Upper Deck #4024004
Lower Deck (Chasis) #9404668
Alumn. airduct thingy # __________

If you guys can help me fill in the blanks, that will be great.

Cheers.

I'm the same as well w/ you Ben. Just waiting for the alum airduct too. That's the only thing that's missing right now on my MRE. A week ago I tried a mock-up for the electronics to see if everything was working properly w/ the batt in it & was tempted to put my ESC & RX (Hara Twister 2.1 & Spektrum combo) w/ dbl sided tape but could not find enough contact surface for the ESC due to the small footprint of the unit. Was thinking of making an airduct myself w/ lexan (somebody has done it, I think a few pages back) but held off. I'll just wait for alum airduct instead & also thinking of installing/changing my Spektrum RX to the Micro version (which even has a smaller footprint than my ESC). Might as well find someone who carries the Titanium turnbuckets for the steering arms while I wait for the release of the airduct.
