I'm not after anything to fancy so imagine this.....

with a digital read out of capacity, discharge time to preset cut off and maybe internal resistance. Again nothing to fancy.

The question, is (and I haven't been able to find anything myself so far) there a discharger that will do all of the above.

I'm not worried about each cell in a pack (nice to know but not essential) just which of my existing packs is the best and something where it wont matter if I forget to come back in time because it at least keeps the data from the last pack.

What I don't want is a discharger that (like I read about the Trinity model) takes like two hours to flatten a fully charged pack.

however what I can't tell from the website is will my batteries fit. By that I mean I have recently put corally style plugs on my batteries (just like the one on the discharger as pictured on the site) except if my batteries where on the discharger the positive terminal would be on the left side facing the lcd screen not the left as pictured.

Edit: I took a closer look at the picture and it still might work as my batteries have the corally sockets on top of the cells (like only 1mm or so away from the cell) and it would mean turning the battery upside down from how it's pictured.

Do you think this discharger would still make contact with the terminals if the battery was raised up not much more than the diameter of the connectors?

I hope they would fit but as it happens I can't find anyone with them in stock yet.

You might be able to pick one up second hand.

I have one (but not for sale) and it does take a while for packs to discharge (a few hours from fully charged), but you can connect it and leave it over night till it's done without any dramas.

Go with either the spintec battery manager and an equalizing tray or the trinity dpd. The spintec and the DPD both read out all the info you need . The DPD discharges each cell individually at the 30 amps pulse which is nice while the spintec discharges the pack at 35 amps pulse. what kinda cells are you using?

Question- Why would anyone want to go with a Spintech over a Trinity Dyna Pulse for $30? Plus how many people actually use 7 cell batteries? I'll bet it's far fewer than those who use 4.

The info on the Spintec on the stormer site is old, the new v2 version does 4 to 8 cells.
