Default Good FM Receiver??

I need to try a different FM receiver in my TA05 because ever since I got these Novak XXLs, they have a constant glitch in the car. My current setup is the Novak XXL, Futaba S9550 servo, Checkpoint 19t, Novak GTX, and Futaba FM 75mHz radio system.

I have tried 2 different XXLs and they both give me the same issue. I have even installed additional motor capacitors, and nothing. A new receiver might do the trick so I am looking for some good models that would work with my setup.

did you try a different crystal?? the problem may be there instead of the receivers

also, give another/different esc a try

I've seen many problems lying in the crystals instead of the actual receivers

Yeah I forgot to mention I tried 3 different sets of crystals. I also tried another esc but that didn't seem to help.

What kind of radio are you using? I use a R-200 rec. by JR. Never ever had any trouble and its about 9 or 10 years old.

Does it glitch when its not mounted in the chassis?? Maybe you need to move it to another location on the chassis?

Which chassis are you running? Sometimes receiver don't like to be against the carbon of the chassis, or the antenna is touching something..

I'd try moving it before shelling out the $$ for a new receiver..

Well it isn't a big deal really. If I buy a new one and it works better, than I will sell the other two. If not, I will just return it.

I can only really mount it where it is now because of the layout of the TA05 tub and the length of the GTX wires.

That's why I was asking...some chassis' have different locations where the receivers need to be mounted because of proximity to the motor and/or ESC

Try that before you buy a new esc...selling the older ones won't net you anywhere close to what you paid for the 1 new one...

I have a XXL in my T2 with a Futaba9451 and a SuperSport 5800 setup and have never had a single glitch ever. I also like the JR RS300 synthesized reciever.
